In the context of a pandemic and a climate crisis, Heliconian Club artists interpreted their personal relationship to trees. The entries to “In the Company of Trees” reflect a wide range of approaches to art and to the theme.
The online catalogue posted on the club website includes the artists’ statements about their experience and feelings making art “during the time of Co-vid.”
The show ran from July 8 to September 1, 2021, with an In Person reception on August 15.
